Overview
Mythos Log is a self-improvement app for iPhone and iPad that treats real habits like character training. This policy explains the information the app may handle, how it is stored, and the choices you have.
Mythos Log is published by Curated Design Limited (“Curated Design”, “we”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16720521. Our registered office is Floor 1, 8 Park Crescent, London W1B 1PG.
Mythos Log does not require an account or sign-up. It contains no advertising, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, and no tracking. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties.
Information the app may handle
Depending on how you use the app, Mythos Log may handle your skills, habit logs, goals, weekly reviews, history, character progress, reminder preferences, and, if you connect Apple Health, the workout sessions it imports.
How your data is handled
All of your Mythos Log data is stored on your device. When you are signed in to iCloud, it syncs between your own devices through your private iCloud database using Apple CloudKit. Only you can access that data, and it is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.
Curated Design does not operate a server for Mythos Log and cannot see any of your data.
Storage and sync
App data is stored locally on your device using Apple platform storage. When iCloud is available, it syncs through your private iCloud database, which is tied to your Apple Account.
Sync depends on your Apple Account, iCloud settings, network connection, available storage, and device state.
Apple Health
Connecting Apple Health is optional, and Mythos Log has no access to it until you connect it in the app.
- What Mythos Log reads: workout data only, meaning workout sessions such as their type, date and duration. This is used to log eligible Strength and Cardio sessions automatically.
- What Mythos Log writes: nothing. Mythos Log does not write any data to Apple Health.
- How Health data is used: Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties.
- Where Health data is stored: only on your device and in your private iCloud database, the same as your other Mythos Log data.
- Revoking access: you can revoke access at any time in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Mythos Log, or in the Health app.
Third parties, analytics, advertising, and tracking
Mythos Log does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or a custom backend service. It does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and your data is not sold or shared with third parties.
Apple system features
Mythos Log may use Apple iCloud/CloudKit, HealthKit, App Groups, UserNotifications, WidgetKit, App Intents, and Siri Shortcuts. These Apple services and system features are subject to Apple’s own privacy terms and your settings.
Notifications, widgets, and shortcuts
Reminders are optional. Mythos Log can schedule daily, evening, and weekly review reminders. They are local notifications scheduled on your device, and no data is sent anywhere. You can turn them off in the app or in your device’s notification settings.
The Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets and the Siri and Shortcuts actions share data with the app only through an App Group on your device.
Export and import
You can export your data to a file you choose, and import it again later. An exported file is under your control, and it only leaves your device if you choose to save or share it somewhere else.
Deleting data
- Data on your device: delete the app to remove the data stored on that device.
- Synced data: remove it in Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > Mythos Log.
- Apple Health: removing Mythos Log’s access in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices stops workout reading and does not delete anything from Apple Health.
Children
Mythos Log is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the “Last updated” date above will change.
