1. Overview
concinnity is a native daily planner for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it is stored, and the choices you have.
concinnity is published by Curated Design Limited (“Curated Design”, “we”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16720521. Our registered office is Floor 1, 8 Park Crescent, London W1B 1PG.
In short: your planner stays on your device and, if you choose, in your own private iCloud database. Curated Design does not run a server for concinnity and cannot see your planner content. The app contains no advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics.
2. Information you may enter
Depending on how you use concinnity, the app may hold:
- Tasks, including their titles, notes, dates, and completion status.
- Projects and tags you use to organise your work.
- Schedules and plans for your days and weeks.
- Planning and focus records, such as the focus sessions you schedule or complete.
- Your preferences and settings for the app.
You decide what to enter. Please avoid adding sensitive information about yourself or other people that you do not need for planning.
3. Local storage and optional iCloud sync
concinnity works offline. Your planner data is stored locally on your device using Apple platform storage.
If you turn on iCloud sync, your planner data is also stored in your private database in Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit) and synced between the devices signed in to your Apple Account. That database belongs to your Apple Account. Curated Design does not have access to it. Apple handles iCloud data under its own privacy policy and your iCloud settings.
You can turn iCloud sync off at any time in the app’s settings. Turning sync off stops future syncing from that device. It does not delete data already stored in iCloud. See Deleting and managing your data below.
4. Calendar access
Calendar access is optional. concinnity can only read your calendars after you grant permission in the system prompt, and you can change that permission at any time in your device’s privacy settings.
With permission, concinnity reads calendar event information, such as event titles, dates, and times, so it can show your events alongside your planned work on the timeline. Your events stay in your calendars and are not sent to Curated Design.
concinnity only creates or edits a calendar event when you choose an action that does so. Those changes are saved to the calendar you use, and that calendar’s provider (for example iCloud, Google, or Microsoft Exchange) may sync them to your other devices under its own terms.
If you do not grant calendar access, or you later remove it, you can still use the rest of the planner.
5. Notifications and Apple system features
concinnity uses Apple system features to fit into your device. Each one runs through Apple’s frameworks and is controlled by your device settings:
- Local notifications: optional reminders that your device schedules itself. They are not sent from a Curated Design server. You can turn them off in your device’s notification settings.
- Widgets and Live Activities: show parts of your plan on your Home Screen, Lock Screen, or desktop. Anyone who can see your device’s screen may see what they display.
- Spotlight: lets your planner items appear in system search on your device.
- Siri, Shortcuts, and App Intents: let you use concinnity’s actions from Siri and the Shortcuts app when you choose to. Apple handles Siri requests under its own privacy terms.
6. No advertising, tracking, or analytics
concinnity does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking SDKs, and it does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
concinnity has no custom backend. Curated Design does not operate a server that receives or stores your planner content, and we have no access to the planner content in your private iCloud database. We do not sell or share your information.
7. Deleting and managing your data
- In the app: you can delete tasks, projects, and other items in concinnity. If iCloud sync is on, those deletions sync to your other devices.
- Turning sync off: this stops syncing from that device. It does not delete data already stored in your iCloud account.
- Deleting the app: deleting concinnity from an iPhone or iPad removes the planner data stored on that device. It does not remove data stored in iCloud, or events in your calendars.
- iCloud data: you can review your iCloud storage in your device’s Apple Account and iCloud settings, where apps storing data in iCloud may be listed and their data deleted. Deleting it there removes it from iCloud for all your devices.
- Calendar events: events stay in your calendars. You manage them in your calendar app, including any events you created from concinnity.
